ponder over it.

few days back i was walking in the town with my friends.i happened to meet someone whom i knew and we were just exchanging hellos and she asked where i was coming from.we had just got over with our meeting where we chant for world peace.i told her so and asked whether she is also interested.what she said in reply made me ponder n ponder."its not yet time for me to go for chanting.i don't need it so soon,"was what this young lady told me.why do people think that spiritualism is for those who are getting old or for that matter the wrong perception which people have is, spiritualism is for those troubled souls.why can't happy people also practise spiritualism? being spiritual does not mean u renounce urself from worldly pleasure and start looking very grim and serious."join us whenever u r ready,"was all i could say.and i am still thinking.

I agree..chanting or keeping up with any spiritulism does not need to wait till you get old..nearing your death ha..ha..well but thats a general mindset may be people were too busy earning their bread and butter for the family when they are young and used to take their spiritulism when they retire..well I don't know.
I chant when I am on my way to work and it is around 45 mins drive..so its a long chant..ha..ha.

i think its never too early or too late for spiritualism.when it comes it has to come from within.but i totally agree wid u ,for some people have wrong notion about the whole idea of ''spiritualism''. it is not necessarily all about god,yes u do remember him by chating n offering prayers but by doing so i guess u are only helping urself to connect one to its inner self n find happiness in its true sense.
