lump in my throat

yesterday's serial blasts must have really shocked everyone.i had just come home after a fruitful day having spent the whole day with my kids.we had gone to pay our respect to our rinpoche, shopping for my kids, visited someone in the hospital and met my sister after so many days.with a sense of satisfaction i sat down to catch some news but to my horror the blasts news were splashed in every channel. chill went down my spine, tears welled up in my eyes and a lump in my throat just refused to go. i am still wondering how can people do such a horrible thing blowing up innocent people.by now hope the girl in the yellow t-shirt and others have gained consciousness.i felt so helpless and sorry to see the 12 year old boy ballon seller being whisked away by police.poor little child looked so shaken up and helpless.i am still praying.the blame game have started but i think we as citizens can do our bit for the safety of our people.ofcourse the government has to provide security but along with the government everyone can participate in maintaining peace and security.IF EACH ONE OF US ARE ALERT then i am sure we can succeed in avoiding such incidents in future.

India should realise, not in words, but in real action how the minorities are struggling in their kind of democracy. I do sympathize with the victims, but the major blame is the central government

i think we should not always blame the govt.n forget about the whole issue.instead if we r bit more alert in such cases then we will be helping the govt.do its job efficiently.on the govt.'s part also it shouldn't forget its duty after directing few authorities to solve the case.if both the govt n people do their bit earnestly then i m sure the world will be a better place to live in.isn't it vana?

is it really the government or is it those people who had a hand in the blast who are to blame? what on earth drives people to the point of madness that the suffering of others leave them untouched as long as they prove a point? is it religion or frustration with the system? wont it be too much to expect the public, each having multitude problems & frustrations to be wide alert to take out their time, warn the police and probably spend hours being detained on suspicion if their fear turns out to be correct or accuse you of hoax if its false? honestly,i dont know.the balst victims at least get some compensation & recognition and the front page in the newspapers. While the victims of corruption & police atrocities die a lilttle bit, everyday,in so many parts of our country.......

definitely its the people who has the hand in the blasts responsible.the point is ,these people r heartless creatures with little respect to
humanity..therefore commiting such heinous crimes.so its not fair to see these people n the govt at par.
my dear friend, being alert does not mean the whole time u r in lookout of suspicious things leaving ur daily routine.whoeever is in the public places can be a little cautious n alert the police
if something suspicious is found.just think, people in the public places outnumber the number of policemen posted in such places.even if half the people contribute i am sure we will be able to keep such objects away from the dustbins, toilets, etc etc.
